Invaders from Space!Just a quick update on what’s going on in DRL HQ. We’re crunching both to make the IGF submission, and the first commercial version of CC. The full in-game Scene Editor is now feature complete and we’re using it ourselves to build the real story scenarios that will make up the meat of of the Cortex Command experience. After six years in the making, we can finally say that we’ve transitioned from pre-production into actual production on this project. ;D

So, if you already enjoy the rickety skirmish mode of the test builds, you’re in for a treat. We are adding many times more content than you’ve seen so far. Environments, ships, guys, weapons, tools, game modes, cut scenes… oh my!

The Scene Editor will be included with the full game, and since we’re using it ourselves to build the game (aka “eating our own dog food”), it is shaping up to be quite powerful and user friendly.

Good things come to those who wait. Image to the left is purely fictitious fun.

That’s awesome. It’s really cool to see the progression of this being made.

    HELL YEAH!!!!

  3. whitty - # September 13th, 2007 at 9:52 pm

  4. Grif - # September 13th, 2007 at 9:56 pm

    Very nice, very nice.

    Cut scenes will be interesting.

Prerendered, or made through the actual game engine?

  5. steel - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:04 pm

and this is gonna be released? and when will we have to play?

  6. iwillcontrolyou - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:04 pm

Cool, but when you say “first commercial version,” you don’t mean no more test builds do you?

Also, will we get a taste of the Campaign mode before this goes commercial?

And one more question, even bigger: Any Online mode planned?

    In any case, very good.

  7. JEM - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:13 pm

    WTF is that picture
    is it dropship parts

  8. 21GP - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:28 pm

No, JEM, go back to the arcade and study.

I can’t wait to turn over my money to you, Data! This will be awsummm

  9. Cayne - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:48 pm

AWESOME!!!! YEAHAA!! Go data haha… I can’t wait!

  10. ChJees - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:54 pm

    :O

Niceh! I am so waiting for this :).

  11. BreenedandScrooned - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:58 pm

Awesome. Will the scene editor be in any of the test builds, or only the final game?

  12. AGENT15 - # September 13th, 2007 at 10:58 pm

    WooooooOOOOOooo!

    Snazzy.

  13. Data - # September 13th, 2007 at 11:13 pm

The full scene editor is planned as one of the things your bought key will unlock.

  14. AquaGeneral - # September 13th, 2007 at 11:13 pm

    Looks great :)

Data, in the next build will there be better controller support. In B18 I still need to manually map a second 360 controller instead of using the ingame mapping system. When I attempt to add a second 360 controller for P2, it does no recognise it as another seperate controller.

PS: I use a Wired plus Wireless Xbox 360 controller for CC.

  15. Nikica - # September 13th, 2007 at 11:22 pm

Keys for unlicking cool, so I can ***** it, anyway holly space invaders, is this green thing on the ground a jumping cannon and if it is I hope it has good AI, and please give us more screenshots but bigger !!!

  16. Data - # September 13th, 2007 at 11:35 pm

Aqua, we’ve had problems with mixed wired/unwired 360 controllers too… sometimes it shows up as gamepad 3 instead of 2. We’ll look into it.

  17. Predator King - # September 14th, 2007 at 12:00 am

Fucking epic! Let’s hope that there will be speech bubbles for the campaign mode (I’m thinking that they should look like the GMod 10 help/item deleted/whatever messages, atleast to the extent of the color, and they should also display the speaking actor’s portrait! :D)!

  18. KamikazeDuck - # September 14th, 2007 at 12:31 am

Nice work. Data, are you saying that there will be a cut-down version of the scene editor in the free version?

  19. Cevius - # September 14th, 2007 at 1:01 am

Is online multiplayer likely to ever be a possibility for CC? Or is this just one of those things that just cant work online?

  20. Data - # September 14th, 2007 at 3:54 am

Networked multiplay is not a planned feature for this iteration of CC. Just too challenging with the peculiar physics heavy engine and timeframe we’re working with.

Maybe there will be a CC Online or somesuch later though, who knows?

  21. JEM - # September 14th, 2007 at 4:19 am

    OH SNAP ITS SPACE INVADERS!!!
i thought it was pieces for a drop ship because there all wierd looking and then i see it and wow

Hey DATA have you purposley put a pac man face in the background??? because someone has found it

  22. juju - # September 14th, 2007 at 7:09 am

    YEE-HAW!!!

  23. Kokits - # September 14th, 2007 at 7:10 am

Dang DATA! This is shaping up to be one of the best games that I’ve ever played. I don’t mind the lack of online, it would be nice, but certainly not neccessary. I’ll just cross my fingers for LAN :)

Keep up the good work DATA, you’ve come a long way, and it will soon pay off.

  24. Arnar - # September 14th, 2007 at 7:16 am

    Thank you Jebus!

  25. Bandaid - # September 14th, 2007 at 8:40 am

Data, I love you. If you were gay and I was gay and you weren’t married, or at least at the bare minimum happily married, I would make love with you.

Also, you are aware that in the current scene builder ingame the rockets from the dropships still cause damage correct? perhaps you should have a variable that when set to such and such it doesn’t have them active and when that variable gets changed on the start of the skirmish they activate.

Other than that, To all other, Bow down and worship perfection making perfection in the making.

  26. robolee - # September 14th, 2007 at 9:16 am

well done sir! I like your retro homage:
    pac-man in scene background
majoras mask look-alike stone (maybe homage or just a coincidence?)
    space invaders picture on this.
you win, are they in-game (modules?) or just an edit on some program?

p.s I plan on making that scene now :) if I finish it I’ll make sure to send it to ya.

you have made my day.(since I’m ill and been in bed for like 6 hours after waking up at 7-8am)

    PLEASE TAKE THIS SUGGESTION DATA:
MAKE IT USE GRAPHICS CARD AS WELL
(I have a geforce 8600gt and this is using my pentium 4 my graphics card could run it no problem with no lag)
A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE A BETTER GRAPHICS CARD THAN A BETTER CPU

this has been suggested for about 5 or so builds that I’m aware of and could improve performance if both the cpu and grapic card are working on it together, please I beg you

  27. Cevius - # September 14th, 2007 at 9:22 am

Possibly multiplayer might work if one of the clients connecting calculates all the physics (the host), and the others just receive the relevant collision info. Sort of like remote desktop to the game, the other player(s) would just provide keyboard input and watch their own screen section.

Still realtime lag would be a bitch, thats a lot of data to throw around. would probably only work on a lan with the amount of bandwith that would be required.

    Heres to hoping!

  28. whef - # September 14th, 2007 at 9:25 am

This is a red letter day in Datarealms.

  29. Thundermaker - # September 14th, 2007 at 10:10 am

    ZOMFG!!!111 Dat’s spac invadra!
Damn, I want arcanoid with CC physics!!!
    Will CC be shareware?

Oh, Data, would you so kind to answer a few questions about CC? I just want to write preview about subj in one tiny Western Europe journal. If yes, where can send it?

  30. Myst - # September 14th, 2007 at 10:36 am

PLEASE tell me we either get it free or at the very least a discount.

Oh my god this is going to be SO AWESOME.

  31. GUNREVO - # September 14th, 2007 at 11:02 am

This is very exciting for me. I just started playing this legendary game today and am slowly starting to get the hang of it. Of course I suck, but I’ll get better. Awesome.

  32. eternjc - # September 14th, 2007 at 11:16 am

Hehe, thundermaker … your writing really cleans up when you get down to business!

Data, this truly is epic! Groundbreaking-gaming! We need more of you on this rock of ours.

(Off Cevius’s idea, this wouldn’t work with internet lag, but couldn’t the game just stream the Host’s “screen” image to other computers, and receive input from them to process? Or would the image take more bandwidth than a *sane* LAN can handle?)

  33. SOMEONE LOL - # September 14th, 2007 at 11:43 am

I can’t wait man. I will gladly turn money over to you for the finished product. Oh man i am excited

  44. numgun - # September 14th, 2007 at 2:07 pm

Yo wait… you said the next ver is commercial?
Does that mean we’ll have to buy it?
Or maybe if you said you need some key to unlock the scene editor then I presume theres going to be demo/trial version instead of test builds.

    Damn. : /

  45. Niros - # September 14th, 2007 at 2:24 pm

Data, I urge you not to use keys, Or if you do, ensure the keys are incredibly easy to purchase (even phone calls) the temptation will be too much for many to steal this amazing game.
Keys and Serials have been proven for years to be ineffective on their own. Maybe an online service that checks to see if the keys are correct and if not revert back to the trial permanently.
This would be particularly bad in your case data since the game is so small and easy to download.
Anyone who doesn’t agree, is a dirty pirate, Yarr.

  46. 3 Solid - # September 14th, 2007 at 2:31 pm

    Hold on a sec..

Green gibs… Does that mean a new vehicle?

    Perhaps a land one? *hoping*

  47. juju02 - # September 14th, 2007 at 2:47 pm

  48. Spamking - # September 14th, 2007 at 2:54 pm

    Sweeet…
    I am gonna buy this.
Also, someone make those space invaders into dropships ASAP.

  49. TheLastBanana - # September 14th, 2007 at 4:09 pm

    DELICIOUS.
The only thing I would even suggest at this point is fixing the MO-MO collision. Other than that, I can’t wait.

  50. Carp - # September 14th, 2007 at 4:12 pm

My monies = teh yours. :P
In all seriousness, glad to see you’re making it big. Good luck down the road.

  51. Kenny Compton - # September 14th, 2007 at 4:22 pm

Weel, I can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting for this news.

One question, will faithful players be rewarded with a discount or whatnot? Or is that even possible?

  52. Anonymous - # September 14th, 2007 at 4:35 pm

Damn, I’m gonna have to put some cash aside for this.

    Under $20 plees?

  53. Delgado - # September 14th, 2007 at 4:53 pm

Uve got my money, next build or no??? pls pls pls tell, very fun invaders screenie :)

  54. Delgado - # September 14th, 2007 at 4:55 pm

Also it would be very cool if your able to pick up magazines, and if you didnt have infinity ammo, it would make the game harder, and more realistic. like a ratio above your player. . . (ammo left in magizine:rounds left) that would add an great twist to the game

  55. RAWRGGG - # September 14th, 2007 at 7:21 pm

ME WANT……aRGAGRAGRashdahsdffff…..sorry bout that. Hehe. I get a lil crazy about these new builds.

nice nice nice nice NICE NICE NICE NICE NICE :D

  60. Grif - # September 15th, 2007 at 12:14 am

    @Robolee:

There’s no way your GFX card is faster than your processor. Unless your processor is an atari 2600, and you have an 8800 GTS for a gfx card.

    @various people:
Next build will implement limited shareware.
Free to play, unlimited trial version, but you have to pay money to unlock full feature set.

    @Someone Lol:
Data isn’t a girl because he’s uploaded pictures of himself, both face shots and of him getting married.

    @other various people:
SCREENSHOT IS A MOCKUP USING VARIOUS GIBS.
    DATA HAS SAID SO.

    @even more various people:
ONLINE, LAN, OR NETPLAY OF ANY KIND IS NOT IN THE WORKS.
    Period.

It’s just not possible with the way CC works.

    @Robolee again:
Data doesn’t do the art for CC, Promster does.
I pointed out the pacman to Data on IRC, he didn’t know about it.

Did I cover all the misguided, idiotic misconceptions?

  61. PromoStarr - # September 15th, 2007 at 2:12 am

:O looks good and if its under £10 ill buy the full game.

BUT this makes me wonder, what other games will the cortex command team make?

  62. AquaGeneral - # September 15th, 2007 at 2:32 am

As a guess probably another heavily physics driven game. Maybe even a Cortex Command 2.

This might actually be the first game I have ever purchased online.

  63. robolee - # September 15th, 2007 at 5:27 am

    @grif I’m no idiot
I have an 8600… hmm so what was that you said oh wait I ALMOST do have an 8800 (1 version behind it)

Data doesn’t do the art for CC, Promster does. I know this I didn’t SPECIFY who it was towards.

  64. KarvaBopi - # September 15th, 2007 at 5:31 am

Well, when CC is buyable, how can i buy it ?
    Mail or just internet ?
because if now mail, i cant buy it.

  65. KarvaBopi - # September 15th, 2007 at 5:35 am

Oh and Data, please answer this: how long do we have to wait for land vechiles or will there even be land vechiles ?

  66. robolee - # September 15th, 2007 at 5:45 am

    also I said working together

  67. Blob - # September 15th, 2007 at 8:17 am

OH DAMN FUCKING EPIC YEAH!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for this full version!! I hope, Data, that you will send it to Ukraine/Russia It would be awesome!!

Data, would CC have ingame video recorder?

  68. Fippe - # September 15th, 2007 at 10:13 am

    EPIC EPIC EPIC!!!!!!!
Now, let’s publish that fast, so we can pay you for this awesomeness!
    EPIC EPIC EPIC!!!!!!!
And let’s not… HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE!!!!!!!

  69. numgun - # September 15th, 2007 at 12:01 pm

    Niros, shut up.

    *Does a pirate grin*

  70. No_0ne - # September 15th, 2007 at 4:11 pm

What about the AI, how’s that going?

  71. Robber - # September 15th, 2007 at 11:38 pm

@niros: Data could try to release it on Steam, that would make it easy to buy it and pretty safe from thieves.

  72. Purple - # September 16th, 2007 at 1:00 am

Anyways, I just noticed another topic on the forums talking about the idiocy of ProjektTHOR as a moderator.

It made me think, is there going to be anything on the forums for people that purchase the full version? A tag like toribash, a private forum, or nothing at all?

Also, Data, do you check mail sent to contact@datarealms.com ?

  73. Tuplanolla - # September 16th, 2007 at 1:46 am

Commercial? I thought this was going to be a good game.

  74. RiD - # September 16th, 2007 at 3:12 am

    YAAAHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! It’s great!

  75. THOR is a horrible moderator - # September 16th, 2007 at 4:43 am

hehe, for the people that didn’t notice, those are rocket gibs used as space invaders props :D

Looks awesome, Data, so next version it’ll be commercial already? Will there still be “demo test builds”?

and Tuplanolla, this game was ALWAYS meant to be commercial.

Campaign has great potential, will mods work? and new official content, that’s amazing, Data, you are GOD! And I agree with not using serial keys, I couldn’t buy the game because of several reasons, so hacking would be the only way I could get it, but I won’t, because that would make your effort pointless, and Data, even if I don’t get the full version, I will still look up to you as a game developer :D

    w00t, 75th post! *coughthorisabadmodcough*

  76. dan - # September 16th, 2007 at 6:47 am

beautifull. So according to IGF the deadline for the main competititon is October 1st.
That means we will be able to play the trial (or full game) sometimes before that (or so i hope :) )

  77. Niros - # September 16th, 2007 at 9:14 am

@ numgun. I really hope you are joking. Its going to be somewhere between £5 and £20 You can’t say $10 is too much money for all those years labor. can you?

  78. Nikica - # September 16th, 2007 at 9:19 am

And when they are entering the student showcase it will be Oct 15th !!!

  79. Delgado - # September 16th, 2007 at 9:22 am

Data i am soproud of your hard long work, call me a nerd but i am willing to spend over 60 $ for this. pls pls pls new build soon?

  80. RiD - # September 16th, 2007 at 10:21 am

I didn’t see that is commercial. I hope, it will not cost more then 15 - 20$.

  81. Leevizer - # September 16th, 2007 at 11:06 am

Yeah, cool. But i wont dl it, i got banned. Thats the end of a cc player.

  82. Grif - # September 16th, 2007 at 11:13 am

“Commercial? I thought this was going to be a good game.”

Yes, because obviously, asking people to buy a game to support their very existence is just out of the question.

Data has no job, nor does Prom.

  83. sylverone - # September 16th, 2007 at 11:44 am

I agree 100% with Grif. Since when were “good” and “cheap” synonyms? The way I’ve usually found them used is where “cheap” means “bad/low quality”. It’s perfectly fine with me that this is going commercial. As it is, Cortex Command is #6 on my current list of games that I’m willing to pay money for (all but one of which have not been released, or in the case of CC and one other, just aren’t finished), and I’m talking just with the CURRENT features.

Data: You said you’re making the game levels with the level editor. I’m assuming this means that saving our levels will be possible in the commercial version?

Also, will there be other editors in the game eventually? An editor for motion paths and such would be nice, as would be editors that would allow you to fix offset issues just by dragging things around.

I hope all that cramming for IGF pays off!

  84. Delgado - # September 16th, 2007 at 11:47 am

Data pls reply to me, i am the biggest nerd of this, I want to know 10 things that everyone wants to know also. pls awnser

    1. Price. What are you exactly thinking for price?

    2. Story mode. Cutscenes using in-game engine?

    3. Next Build. When is it coming?

    4. A.I. Working yet? Can it find their way to your brain?

    5. Any other modes? Deathmatch, Survival?

    6. Planned Release. When?

    7. How to pay? Mail, Internet, Possibly phone?

    8. Other controler setups?

    9. Overall Progress. It would be very helpful if in the fan forums you guys had a progress bar, or here in the dev log.

    PLEASE REPLY TO THIS DATA,
WE ALL WANT TO KNOW YOUR PROGRESS

  85. Miles_t3h_r4t - # September 16th, 2007 at 6:07 pm

    Okay.
of course, how much $, and/or will it still be free.

2nd if you include mods, of course the creator is given credit, but if money is made from the game, including that mod, will the mod’s creator also make profit?

3rd How will cut-scenes be set up?
in game, video, the way the intro is?
will there be a cutscene editor?

4th as i’ve seen in the thread for it and been posting in,
will you be includeing a weapon/actor editor?

5th will there be ways, once its finished and done,
to add additional content, beyond current modding?
(IE adding new classes of actors and objects, such as a very sought after 4 legged actor, or dropship with working guns)
or new effects, or modes. (like a core only mode that ignores mods, or ignores any mod not on a specific list)

    and lastly,
what will you all be doing after-words?

  86. whitty - # September 16th, 2007 at 7:48 pm

and you need to fix it so that the AI can use grenades and other bombs. *coughsuperdynamitecough*

  87. Danny Melnyk - # September 17th, 2007 at 2:30 am

Hey that’s awesome. A neat thing to include in the final version, once you get it up and running, would be little mini games that you unlock as you beat more of the campaign mode. Like space invaders using drop ships, and the physics used in game. so the ships fall as you shoot them and stuff. lol. It would make it pretty interesting. Missile Attack would be another interesting idea for a minigame. the one where you have slowly approaching missiles that you have to shoot out of the sky.

  88. DireAvenger - # September 17th, 2007 at 3:52 am

    Questions about Cortex Command:

    1. Will there be an internet download or a level editor beta? I don’t want to buy this, Personally i think it should stick to FREE downloads.

    2. Will there be a modding PROGRAM (That means similar to the one in LieroX.)

Offtopic: I have heard of the moneycheat, How do you use this “MoneyCheat” Exactly?

have you noticed the HIGHLY increased number of locked topics, banned people, and people who left DRLFF?

  100. robolee - # September 19th, 2007 at 10:19 am

fan forums in now pointless no-one makes any mods anymore it makes me sad ;(

Can’t wait to play the retail version. How much will it cost?

  102. whitty - # September 19th, 2007 at 6:18 pm

    $15-$20 USD

  103. AquaGeneral - # September 20th, 2007 at 5:54 am

Fan Forums are turning ugly. There has not been many new mods and scenes for a while plus a lot of people in the forum are being over the top silly (in a bad way).

  104. Hazook - # September 20th, 2007 at 6:04 am

This sounds reeeeally promising just by reading that log.
I might actually buy this game since its being pure fun already and those extras, if not overhauls, are going to be cool.

  105. 3 Solid - # September 20th, 2007 at 9:29 am

I’m about this close to leaving.

Or atleast lurking and only posting mods.

  106. numgun - # September 20th, 2007 at 2:30 pm

Data, please take a small overall look on the forums.

All the locked topics, and alot of banned people and tons of removed things that were removed for no proper explanation and also all the edits in peoples signatures are projectTHOR’s doing. He is no good for the community, he destroyed alot and messed up the rest, he made alot of people leave and not come back because of his way of abusing the moderator rights.

So Data, please remove ProjectTHOR from the forums once and for all. I beg you.

  107. Eric - # September 20th, 2007 at 4:59 pm

You all think you would keep your e-drama out of an area where the entire world can see it.

  108. Winterous - # September 20th, 2007 at 5:07 pm

He’s a meanie, and he complains a lot about irrelevant posts.

  109. Kurrus - # September 21st, 2007 at 10:38 am

    Eat shit and die.

Numgun is right, you are wrong, go to hell.

  110. TFSR - # September 21st, 2007 at 3:26 pm

Numgun, keep the forums out of this.
The problem is that people get excited and irritated. Move on, and suddenly, you realize there never was a problem.

  111. Purple - # September 21st, 2007 at 6:00 pm

Ok, I don’t need a response to that e-mail, I can safely assume you read it.

When a new player comes to the forums, they open up whatever section, probably general CC, or mods, and they see a lot of locked topics. They might be confused about the game, so they ask a question, it is partially answered, usually with a few “omg you nub” responses before the answer, and then the topic is locked.

I agree that “off-topic” or “fun forum” creates a confusion of rules across the entire forums. IRC is a good place to go for more relaxed chat, but last time I was there, it was just as hostile as the forums, only in real time.

I’ve been banned from the forums on one of ProjektTHOR’s power trips, yet I still check for updates, and new mods, because I honestly like this game. Except the community is like a bunker in build 14, and the unstoppable enemy clones are walking holes through the terrain, edging closer to the brain.

On a side-note, Cevius (comment 19), I love your artwork.

  112. Purple - # September 21st, 2007 at 6:03 pm

Sorry, a bunker in build *13.*

I don’t want to leave that beast of a comment stand by itself, so I’ll ask a question.

When is that artillery piece you showed us a while back being implemented? :D

  113. Purple - # September 21st, 2007 at 6:15 pm

    Ok, triple comment!

I was thinking, a cool concept, and a way to introduce players to modding, in the campaign, would be:

Say in one level you crash-land, and your clone pops out of the rocket, but his gun isn’t working, or the bullets do no damage at all, and there are enemies over the next ridge. You get a small tutorial on simple modding, like change colours of bullets, or firing speed. Then you get a message from the brain, or whatever, that you must fix your gun, and in-game one of the files for the AK-47 opens up to… the ammo section, and one thing is wrong with the code, and the player is tasked with fixing it. It would be a really simple change, maybe edited a line back in, or setting the instance name of the round properly.

Then later, you could somehow introduce the player into changing weapons more dramatically, like the wrong magazine is inserted into the gun. So the player must find the correct code in their actual CC folder, and paste it into the game.

Just commenting to say that I would not buy this. It’s not that it wouldn’t be worth the money, just that I don’t do shareware. I would probably buy it if I found it in my local Walmart or EB…*cough* Gamestop.

This is a shout out to all you other lurkers out there!
    HI GEORGE!

    *crawls back into the shadows*

  115. numgun - # September 22nd, 2007 at 3:07 am

Haha, I like that 3rd comment idea of your Purple. That would really increase modding since the players get to see whats the game made of and then they find out that its ridiculously easy too.

  116. whitty - # September 22nd, 2007 at 9:13 am

purple they should let you back into the forums, your a genius. and thor should be taken out of mod status, if not banned. hes gone power-crazy.

  118. Blob - # September 22nd, 2007 at 10:33 am

Data, when wil be Dev log update?

  119. Blob - # September 22nd, 2007 at 11:39 am

Data is making Cortex Command Six Years. So nothing to blab that it would cost money.

  120. CommanderCool - # September 22nd, 2007 at 12:29 pm

wait, we have to PAY for this?!

    …gladly! :3

  121. Grif - # September 22nd, 2007 at 2:04 pm

    HURRMORONS

    That will be all.

Anyways, Purple, that’s a horrible idea; what if people just want to PLAY THE GAME?

  122. Khaz - # September 22nd, 2007 at 3:14 pm

Awesome game! I cannot wait to play the first commercial version.

  123. Purple - # September 22nd, 2007 at 3:38 pm

Modding is part of the game. What if people just want to BEAT Armadillo Run, too bad, you have to work for it.

Why does your entire comment consist of unconstructive criticism?

  124. iwillcontrolyou - # September 22nd, 2007 at 4:01 pm

Purple: That idea about modding would make for an interesting tutorial level, but not really a main campaign level. Just doesn’t seem to fit the style of the game.

  125. Bunda the Great - # September 22nd, 2007 at 4:59 pm

This is going to be awsummm!
What is going to be the deal with pricing, etc?

  126. numgun - # September 22nd, 2007 at 6:40 pm

IWCY, yeah, it would suit well as a modding tutorial level that isnt a part of the campaign.

But it sure would rock if it was implemented.

  127. Darkomni - # September 22nd, 2007 at 8:23 pm

Hm. Is it possible that somebody might fake Data and come on and make everybody sad?

  128. whitty - # September 22nd, 2007 at 9:15 pm

it should be, so people dont have to learn from nothing like most of us did.

  129. Striker26 - # September 22nd, 2007 at 11:51 pm

even when we had to learn from nothing, it was still incredibly easy

Hi DRL! Good work, this is gonna rock!
@Direavenger for money cheats, look in base.rte/activities.

  133. Robert - # September 23rd, 2007 at 8:54 am

I’ve been playing this game for a little while, only since build 17. I have to say it is an amazing game. Numgun, I’d like to say I think that is an incredible idea. One of the main reasons I liked Liero Xtreme was the fact that I could make my own sets of weapons (Dispite my lack of computer art skills :P). I know I’d like some sort of creator made tutorial because I’m sick of hunting on the internet for how do do even the simplest of tasks and getting a bunch of people “speekin n 1337″ calling people “nubs” and saying how “ezy” it is. I would definatly concider purchasing this game, that’s for sure.

On a side note, I noted that some people *cough* Grif *cough* are just outright mean and cruel. I don’t care how bad your ideas are, I don’t think it’s fair of you to bash people who can come up with good ones. Jealousy doesn’t become you.

looks awesome! Cant wait for the final version, I’ll defiantly buy it without a doubt.

  136. Grif - # September 23rd, 2007 at 3:22 pm

OH YES I’M OBVIOUSLY JEALOUS OF EVERYONE; THAT’S MY SECRET INTERNAL REASON FOR FLAMING

WELL DONE THERE MR FRUED, YOU JUST DIAGNOSED MY ENTIRE CONSCIENCE BASED ON YOUR EVALUATION OF PERHAPS A KILOBYTE OF TEXTUAL INFORMATION ON ONE CORNER OF THE INTERNET

    VERY GOOD.

If you missed it, I’m being sarcastic.

I’ll pay for whatever build is the first pay build, regardless of price.

  137. Wildstar - # September 26th, 2007 at 7:12 am

Will the full game be on a platform?

  138. devolute - # September 26th, 2007 at 10:47 am

I’m seriously going to consider paying for this to get the ‘full feature set’. Cripes. I never thought I’d say that!

  139. James 000000 - # October 2nd, 2007 at 8:13 pm

  140. A cow, moo - # October 4th, 2007 at 10:45 pm

    I’m going to buy it.
If nothing else, for the scene editor. Also, if what’s-his-name gets his Weapon Maker done, that should probably be included with the download.

  141. GameR - # October 10th, 2007 at 10:28 am

    !!!!!!!!.

  142. DireAvenger - # October 21st, 2007 at 2:43 am

If we have to buy it at the point of store management, Please make it something like $10/$5. I don’t want to play $56 To buy this awesome game!
