I found that with the last version - try downloading to a different place. It seems Windows does some odd caching that I didn’t know about (thoroughly bizarre). Anyways, good job Data, this is coming along very nicely.

Damn right Windows does some odd caching, I’ve uninstalled CC, deleted the original setup, and have left nothing except for a folder of mods, and it still doesn’t work. I also tried installing to a different place, that didn’t work either.
Any ideas?
Try deleting your browser cache (temporary internet files) and then redownload.

As I say, I had the same problem last time - deleted the file, emptied cache + everything from browser, etc. etc. but it was always the same version that got downloaded somehow. I fixed it by downloading to a different place. I didn’t know Windows did this behind the scenes until then!

Awesome, I only found two bugs were the skeletons sometimes drill themselves into the ground and when i take a screen shot its mostly black with some cyan and magenta and yellow dots giving a barely see able outline of the map.

the skeleton is awsome. and ive found two ways to get over the fact he has no jet pack.the skeleton is mega light. give him any gun with continuos fire a.k.a. one of the diggers and he’ll take off. down side i cant dig with him. but ill get over it. also i loaded hime with a concreat gun

AND the heavy digger he still took off like a bird. but he is really brittle
Please make customizable joystick controls a priority for the next build. I have a regular Xbox controller that I use to play Cortex Command, and it does not work with the current version.

Ya know, the one where setting any weapons gold cost differently caused the game to have an error at “Devices.ini line 370″?
You can make everything (weapons,actors,ships) free, EXCEPT SMG… Its weird, the goldcost for it has to be 20 or 25 or there will be that error on line 370 Devices.ini
You should add a new ship for the skeletons. It could be made of bone and stuff.
Uh, not sure why but the rockets still take off as soon as I switch actors. The readme file says version 11, not sure how to check the exe though.

Sadly both this version and version 10 don’t work on my computer; the game runs, but the display only updates if I grab the window and move it. My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9600, if that helps.
It’s as if it never gets the buffer switch command, or something like that.

you should make a night version of the map jus make a dark blue background and put a few flood lights and add a few changes to the map ….

You canot make SMG’s worth 0 but you can make them worth a negitive number ex.-200,000. That way so when you buy an SMG you GAIN money. or atleast it works that way on the current one. One more thing if you make the Blunderbuss fully auto you guy explodes. Its kinda interesting. Just so you know!

i just reinstalled it and restarted my computer and the colers are still wrong
i just cleard my computer of stuff and virises and the full screen worked for a second than everything went torquoise and yellow and pink and all thes other colers but u were still capable of playing the game its just the colers were all weird

How u change the cost of stuff? I thought u could only do it in the older versions (when CC came in a .zip folder). Please tell me because I really want to crash FREE ships.

i liked the old keyboard settings(ex.player 1 used numberpad). Can you tell me what the settings were for that.
I have an idea for the next update that I think would be pretty cool. how about a kill-count so that we have some kind of measurement of how far we’ve gotten? not necessarily a high-score table or anything, but something in-game that lets you see exactly how many enemies you’ve destroyed. eh?
