Good job on the battle suit. It seems to walk smoothly, and has enough jumping ability. Can't wait to use it to fooking kill some humans.

As for the arc gun, I don't know if it's the frame count of the gif, but the lightning looks quite static. Still, the effects of popping an actor like a balloon is great.

I'll add the step by step version, it is even easier to make it, I just thought that it would be too slow. After all it must be fast as lightning, mustn't it? :)

The human eye couldn't register movement at the speed of light, last time I checked. Well, the eye can, actually, but the brain could never process it quickly enough. You only need a bit of variety in the arcs, not an animation.
Also, a question, does the sprite (muzzleflash) go through walls?

As you can see the ark dose not go through walls and you can choose it to damage terrain or leave it intact, this is obviously an example of the damaging variant. The ark is not actually a sprite it is built randomly on-the-fly using a set of variables. In this example I slightly increased the dispersion of these variables but because of this the arc is sometimes fragmented, this is one of the problems to fix.

It rips people apart at an atomic level. I think a few holes in concrete is acceptable. :P

Well, I'm being kind of outstripped here. I suppose I'll have to relegate myself to playtester or something. However, I'm going to throw a few thoughts out there for the more experienced ones.

  • Any plans for a partially mutated Wilkus actor? That'd be cool.
  • The Prawn Flame Thrower is listed as a "Gas Thrower." Could we impliment something different from a vanilla flame thrower? Say, have the gun fire flammable gas until the last bullet, which shoot a spark to ignite the gas.
  • A scenario similar to the scene where Wilkus and Christopher storm MNU, that works similar to Zombie Cave (go in, grab tube, leave).
  • No word on sound effects. Has anyone implimented them? I can easily get a few from a few youtube videos.

I'm sorry, what? Are you serious? That's ♥♥♥♥ awesome.

I know it's just a display of the effect, but the final gun should have more kick and a much lower fire rate to really give it that heavy lightening feel.

It will be a legend.

Anyhow, that arcgun is the ♥♥♥♥, Sunrise. I thought they were sprites and that the muzzle flash somehow changes, but they aren't!
Not only that but it looks just like lightning. :)

So it sticks together a few glows and makes that lightning? Sounds cool, could you post the script?
