The Data Realms Mod Database is finally in public beta!

Basic function would be--post your mod to the DB, then post link to mod on forum for discussion/extra pictures.

Link: http://disabling.themachinery.net
Additionally, please use the wiki to post TODOs and Bug Reports when i'm not in IRC or AFK. :]

So far, thanks to
Daman for being my code monkey when I am too busy to work on this, and his initial layout.
Darlos9D for letting his mod be the first to upload and being our guinea pig.
Electroclan for the temp banner,
Specific thanks to TrouserDemon got excellent bug squashing.
LordTim, TrouserDemon, Tucker, Electroclan for continued troubleshooting, although most of the IRC threw ideas out at some point.

Current Feature List
Supports RAR and ZIP compressed archives.
Supports file tagging.
Supports screenshot uploading.
Searchable by tag.
Binary mod rating (+/-)
More to come. Post suggestions on the Wiki page.

You should like, tell people who "Browse" button is which. I'm assuming the first one is for the mod and the second is for the image?

That is an excellent idea.

It's not essential, but it'd be nice if the login screen said which field was the username and password.

Also, I'm getting a filetype not allowed.
"That file type is not allowed! application/x-rar-compressed, application/x-rar-compressed; IRC Scene.rar, IRC Scene.rar"

Did you restrict it to .zip?

Quite likely. Let me check the array that dictates that. Thank you for posting the mimetype.

Okay, so far:
Fixed uploader confusion.
Fixing login confusion.
Changing allowed file-types array.

Thanks.

Still getting the .rar mess up, but it worked fine with .zip.

Also, refreshing on the post-data send page sends it in twice. Should have an auto-redirect or something.

I just fixed it. Try again.

Tim, comma separated values. Oops.

Oh. That too. Okay.

Also, the description is being truncated when you view the mod's page.

Its being truncated because the database only stores X caracters. Guess I need to bump that up.

Fixed: Max characters 300.

HUGE problem.

When I try to login with a made up username, the first time it says "unsuccessful login attempt" , but I can give it any details the second time and then it says I'm logged in, despite not having any kind of account.
