Hrmmm.... I think a 30-40 round clip with a faster fire rate but more bullet separation would be best for the SMG.

The sprites look like poo no more, cept the soldier's helmet :D


If you replace it with the base clone's helmet it fits really well and doesn't look like doo.

But that wouldn't fit the color scheme Anthony used.

Ok, so... I managed to kick myself in the hiney and make a heavy soldier.
He's extremely tough, but slow and heavy.
But, the main point of this post is to gather opinions on the looks of the
dude, especially the helmet, which i personally think went very well for my standards.

What do you think? Is he worthy of being inserted into your game?

Kurrus will also have him sent for beta testing...

Needs an bombardment caller. Nothing special, just a few mortar rounds flying in when you call for it. It shouldn't be very hard to make, if you use the same logic as the Pillar of Glows Fire for it.

Why? Because this guy doesnt look like a heavy in anyway. But he sure does look kickass.

I concur with numgun :3 Switch the heavy sprite to the infantry soldier and find a heavier heavy sprite for the heavy.

...if that makes any sense whatsoever :P

Hmnah, to be honest, he's WAY too tough to be a standard soldier, and i'd have
no idea at all about how to make the new heavy look like ._.
(I'm perfectly aware that i could change his toughness.)

Lol, i think he looks plenty heavy for an ordinary (...) human... Besides, like i mentioned
earlier, i couldn't draw power armor for ♥♥♥♥ :P

Power armor? Just make the frontal plates longer, add some more protection to the back, insert gradients and glows, and you have ze armor of power >:3 Anyways, if you're planning on keeping this dude as the heavy, then give the infantry soldier the helmet and add more glows to this one or something.



Agreed about the shield- multilayer! :3

(PS: What, if any, kinds of weapons do you plan to add?)

No I didnt mean make him tougher code-wise. The sprite of this guy looks way too much like hes just an alternative variant of the normal soldier. Pimp his suit by making it more bulky, fat, taller ect. And try to add armor plates all over his body and shoulders so he'd look tougher than the normal guy atleast.

That's the part that gives me problems. I'm not sure if i can make it bulkier
and still keep the good looks at the same time, if you know what i mean :/
Besides, i don't think it'll be easy to match up with Anthonys style...
I mean, i could try, but the results are likely to be ugly.

Just kidding, so far i think i'll be adding an SMG, a rifle, a machinegun and possibly
some designator type weapons too. Maybe more, when i think of them.
