Don't worry. I intend for the Fury's explosion be the standard explosion for the Cobra Team members... and in the next mod (once everyone's done making theirs) I'll upgrade the Fury's explosion... maybe twice or thrice times the current one. Of course, he's got an oxygen tank and a flamethrower...

For Shagohod... hurm. Maybe some kind of Mammoth Tank modification? I can't say for sure I could do it...

Allrighty folks, post here once you guys made your picks, if it's complete I'll compile them into one Metal Gear Solid .rte. That is, before someone else made a compilation. :D Thanks for the participation!

What was the point of that? I know all of the characters and which games they come from. I did make the original MGS pack after all...

I was just saying, The Fury is MGS 3, Lets stick with just Mgs 3.

You guys can. I plan on re-doing ALL of my MGS mods. I had weapons and actors for the first 3 games.

Of course I wont make stuff people have already made. Unless it can be improved in some way.

Hopefully I will learn how to use lua soon too. I would like to make some maps based on MGO. A Capture or Rescue map would be pretty cool I think.

To all others: how's your progress, folks?
Ah yeah, ideas for missions... recreate the MGS3 boss battles.
I'm gonna work on that flamethrower and equip Fury with it...
also, bigger, badder boom. Maybe with a flaming skull glow? :D

OOOOHHHH I got an idea!

Make a TDE with a glow attached, and a lifetime of 1,
It turns into a different TDE with a different glow,

Repeat that to make a multi-frame glow so that your skull could animate!
the offsets would be a ♥♥♥♥♥ but think about it, it could be awesome!

I believe you mean triggerdelay, but yeah, that could work... it would make it effectively nearly invincible... yeah.

We now got THE PAIN as well as THE FURY. Bees and Hornets thanks to p3lbox for the Dummy MR Launcher code (modified from it), ideas from the whole godfriggin' awesome forummembers who posted here! :D
And yeah, no preview yet, got so immersed in gameplay and testing...
Also, when it's all done (even if other people start making the other members) I'll compile it into one .rte in one .rar!

I get this error for The Fury. I assume it's about the same for The Pain but I haven't checked.

Abortion in file .\System\Reader.cpp, line 531, because:

Referring to an instance ('Flamer Shot Light') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in Fury.rte/Fury.ini at line 63!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'

The abortscreen is attached.

Anyone else get this error?

May I humbly remind you that these mods are still for B22? an update to B23 is on the way. The abortscreen is because the name is too long on the Fury's flamethrower. Wait a bit, maybe you'll get homing hornets.
