Post GMod Lua Error
I've been getting this since I first installed Garry's Mod and it's really starting to become a nuisance.
The game will get a HUGE lag spike, and totally stop, then come back and run for half second intervals. This process can repeat from 30 seconds to 5 minutes, and it's totally unplayable. I recently managed to open the console while the glitch was happening to see what was going on, and I'm getting this error:

And that just repeats over and over and over.
I've googled it at least 5 times in different ways, and I'm getting no conclusive results. The only sites that even document it happening say that it's harmless and in no way effects gameplay, but that's obiously not true for me.
Does anybody at least know what's going on, or how I might be able to fix it? I can hardly run the game for an hour without this happening.

I don't know Lua, nor do I have GMod (although I've played it on my cousin's computer before), but I do know that GMod is updated automaticly, whether you want it to or not. Some times the updates will cause problems, and won't get fixed untill the next update. :-(

Yeah, the newest update is giving me this now:
"The instruction at 0x0001025a referenced memory at 0xffffffff. The memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate the program."

And this happens every time I the game opens. It doesn't run at all any more.
Any ideas?

RAM possibly, or HL2 or Deathmatch is not installed properly.

Reinstall them both (if you have them) and check your RAM.

Yeah, Gmod has all sorts of this crap, I'm going to start learning lua soon...So anyways, what I recommend is to backup your addons folder, and data folder for Gmod, and then completely uninstall Gmod, HL2, and HL2 Deathmatch, I recommend installing all of them overnight. After that just paste your addons/data in and you're good to go. You may also want to save your maps or various other stuff, you be the deciding factor on that.

Well, I haven't been getting it for a while so I think I'm good to go.
Just for future reference, all I had at the time was CS:S and Gmod installed. Now that I have HL2 I'm not getting the problem.
