I notice a little bit of lag when I'm burning through terrain with the grenade, other than that, no performance issues.

It may not be the most earthshaking total conversion mod out there, but as a few interesting and visually-unique weapons, I'd say it's definitely worth the download.

Hmm, i'll give these a try. As much glow-rape as they are, it's what they're
supposed to be, and the glows aren't even that rapey :P
That, and i'm not a hater of excessive glows when used like this. Why? Because
i do it myself, which essentially would make me a horrible hypocrite if i hated it :P
But yeah, trying it. Keep an eye out for an edit on this post...

Not much I hate more than overuse of glows, however, this seems mildly interesting.

I'm with you xtortion, but this mod is fun. Nothing like glow grenades to piss off my brother when I kill his brain which was protected by 3 layers of steel. teeheehee

This is quite a nice use of glows, and the mortar is very interesting.

I have to say, just looking at the gifs, that glowfire looks really good. Like, really freaking awesome. I need to do something like that sometime... Thanks for the mod, Mind.

Sure no problem, glad you're satisfied.

Btw, a note to all: My update date might not be met, because I am currently working on something pretty big, so give me a week or two more.

Would you rather me stay with glows or also make fire weapons on top of glowy weapons?

Make fire glows.
Or shaped glows.

Mixing glows and sprites does not often work well.

I could.
But I mean:
Should I stay with just making weapons with glow or should I also make weapons of fire without glows as well (like pyro weapons)

Diversification is always good. Let's see what you can do without glows, or without JUST glows. Let's see what you can make in the way of a rifle or pistol or something. For that matter, if you can make a glow-flamethrower that burns the terrain away like your grenade does (but hopefully without the lag) I'll be one happy homicidal maniac of a disembodied brain.
