CortexWiki talk:To-Do List
From CortexWiki
- We need to make some kind of standardization for images with actors. Pictures that are 10px by 10px are unacceptable. How big should we say images should be? 50x50? 100x100? Additionally, pictures should show some sense of scale as well, so in the picture you should have them next to another unit or a bunker module. // ProjektTHOR 08:22, 13 December 2007 (CST)
Opinions
We may play all the object on 41x41 81x81 161x161 grey-grid images like i did on http://datarealms.com/wiki/index.php/Category:Device_Articles. For bigger images like big bunker modules we may use any size of image (with that grey grid too) but place thumbled ones on pages. --Ghost Bear 11:40, 24 December 2007 (CST)
I think they look horrible. It should be either a .gif or a .png with the background taken out showing just the sprite. The grey grid looks bad. Daman 09:59, 28 December 2007 (CST)
Community page
We need to make the Community page not retarded. -Kurrus 10:41, 24 December 2007 (CST)
- Done. I'll lock it if anyone changes it back to the old one. Daman 10:00, 28 December 2007 (CST)
Lord Tim's General Plan.
Here's my ideas:
Generally following this format: http://img28.picoodle.com/img/img28/4/6/30/lordtim/f_WikiPagesm_0b9a659.png
- Everything should be split up, so the user doesn't get all confused as to what is where.
- Vanilla content doesn't link to modding stuff. Modding definitions don't have tutorials in them, but can link to them.
- Each modding info page is a definition of that term.
- Each term gets a tutorial page for the tutorials related to it.
- Modding main page->Modding term definitions->Tutorials for term
- I marked stuff that needs to be fixed to work with this with the {{Changing}} template.

- Dropships and rockets are crafts, not actors. Seeing as you're dumbing everything down, they should probably be in their own category, not actors. --Demetrius 17:08, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not done yet. And in modding terms, they're aren't crafts. There's no "crafts". They are Actors, but they're a subclass of Actor, ACRocket and ACDropship. Lord Tim 04:07, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
